Welcome to HerScan
Adding an ultrasound screening to your breast health regimen is smart prevention
The power of an ultrasound can increase the detection of breast cancer from approximately 48% to 97%, particularly in women with dense breasts. Ultrasound screenings are capable of detecting cancers that cannot be found by mammography and physical exams alone. Sometimes mammograms and physical exams just are not enough, particularly in women with dense breasts.

Your HerScan screening includes a scan of both breasts with the axilla, (underarm area), the Radiologist Reading Fee, and U.S. postage to mail results direct to you, all for one payment of $235 (a value of up to $1100). Payment is due at the time of service.
Studies confirm that Mammography alone misses cancer detection for approximately half the women in the United States. Good breast health requires you to participate in regular physician guided exams, self-breast examination, annual Mammograms, Ultrasound or breast MRI for a complete healthy regimen.
What is dense breast tissue? Approximately 50% of the women in the United States have dense breast tissue. On a mammogram, dense tissue appears white and cancerous tumors also appear white making it nearly impossible to "see" the tumor. It's like trying to finding a snowball in a snowstorm.
To insure the highest quality possible, all our tests are read by a Board-Certified Radiologist. HerScan Sonographers are RDMS Registered, and are highly experienced breast specialists.
Our state of the art Ultrasound Technology can see breast abnormalities that cannot be seen by mammography or by physical exam. Ultrasound sees all the way to the chest wall.
